Bodywork
Healthcare professionals who incorporate touch into the healing equation are called Bodyworkers. Bodywork includes, but is not limited to, chiropractics, osteopathic, massage, craniosacral, Rolfing, Hellerwork, Feldenkrais Method and Therapeutic Touch. A bodywork practitioner is knowledgeable about how your physical body holds stress on a cellular level, even when your conscious mind is unaware.

Sylvia A. Henderson, LMP & Esthetician
Sylvia graduated in the top tier of her class from the prestigious Euro Institute of Skin Care in Renton, WA. She is trained in many aspects of esthetics and certified in IMAGE chemical peels, PCA Professional peels, Alexandria Professional Body Sugaring, and micro-dermabrasion. Sylvia is a member of the Northwest Aesthetics Guild, the Associated Skin Care Professionals, Aesthetics Professional, the Day Spa Association, and the International Spa Association.
In addition, Sylvia is a graduate of the Northwest School of Massage in Kirkland, WA. She is board certified by NCBTMB, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and a member of ABMP. Sylvia certified in the Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage for body, face, and neck, F.A.S.T. Scar Tissue Release, and certified in other unique forms of bodywork, including: Natural Force Healing, B.E.S.T., Advanced Psych-K™, Matrix Energetics, econnective Healing, and Bio-Kinetics.
Sylvia offers the Urban Oasis Yoga and Wellness community and it’s surrounding neighbors her passion for reducing stress in others by giving beautifying facial treatments in a serene and tranquil setting and “melt off the table” body treatments that enhance one’s health and wellbeing.
